The list of the winners of the “Science and Technology Award of China Waterway Construction Industry Association 2021”was officially announced recently, the scientific research achievement - “Key construction technology research and application for tidal flat regulation engineering along seaside (or riverside)” co-proposed by ACEG headquarters and its subsidiary – ACEG Road and Port Construction Engineering Company Limited, received the third prize of scientific and technological progresses and it marks the first time for AECG Road and Port Construction Engineering Company Limited winning this merit.

The Science and Technology Award of China Waterway Construction Industry Association was established in 2008 with the approval of the State Office of Science and Technology Awards of the Ministry of Science and Technology (Approval Certificate No.: State Sci-Tech Award No. 185). It is supervised by the Ministry of Transport, representing the highest level of science and technology in China’s waterway construction industry and no more than 90 projects will win the award each year. ACEG has won the award, which demonstrates the company as a leading waterway construction enterprise in terms of scientific and technological innovation strengths and levels in the province.

 

This achievement has greatly promoted the scientific and technological progresses of waterway construction industry from such four aspects as equipment innovation, material innovation, technology innovation and intelligent control, that have innovated the construction concept, realized energy saving and consumption reductions and tremendously improved its productivities. Moreoverthis achievement has obtained 4 invention patents, 6 utility model patents, 7 computer software copyrights, 1 national construction method and 9 provincial and ministerial construction methods so far, It has forward-looking and guiding significance to solve the technical problems encountered in the promotion of the embankment protection projects to the torrent and deep waters, which conforms to the high-quality development requirements of the company’s waterway construction and meets the development directions of green and energy saving strategy and provides strong technical supports for the construction of Yangtze-to-Huaihe River Water Diversion Project.
