China Management Association for Construction Industry has successfully concluded its 23rd Annual Conference in Xiaoshan, a city in East China’s Zhejiang Province. Pending the 3-day event which commenced on 22\04\2008, awarding ceremony for “2007 National excellent construction contractor” and “National excellent construction engineering project manager” has fulfilled; documents related to the Association were approved and a special report on “Situation of investment nationwide” was heard. It has turned out that title of “2007 National excellent construction contractor” has been conferred on Anhui Construction Engineering Group, Mr. Zheng Deyao and Mr. Xu Bolin, project managers with Anhui Construction Engineering have been awarded with the title “National excellent construction engineering project manager”.
Of late years, ACEG has laid Titanic efforts in the promotion drives of corporate systematic reforms which resulted in innovated corporate management; substantially expanded markets both at home and abroad and fruitful achievements have been made in its attempt of building ACEG a harmonious company. Its annual output value for 2007 soared by 73% over the previous year and 7.4 times as much as that of 2002, its total annual output value has tripled over the past 5 consecutive years, quantity of works under construction and works booked increased by 82%, construction areas completed increased by 67%, total production rate increased by 40% over the previous year.
It is worth mentioning that ACEG has been included in the 4th round of 2007 Top 60 Chinese contractors, event sponsored by ENR, standing at the 34th which is 4 positions up than the previous year, and according to ENR, ACEG has been awarded the “2007 Chinese Top green contractor”. The 1st standing of Top 50 construction contractor and the 18th standing of Top 100 companies in Anhui Province.
In addition to the above, ACEG has been conferred with the titles as “2007 National advanced unite construction engineering industry”; “National reliable construction contractor”; “Anhui Provincial reliable contractor”. And ACEG has been also the winner of the Second Prize for the “14th Round of National Modern Corporate Management Innovation”.
